H. Spence Morano's practice specializes in premises liability and product liability litigation arising out of claims against business owners and operators for personal injury, wrongful death, and property damage. He also handles workers compensation matters, OSHA regulatory compliance issues, and general liability litigation. He has litigated matters in Alabama state and federal courts associated with premises liability defense, insurance coverage disputes, bad faith claims, and fraud. His defense work on behalf of premises owners and operators includes appellate cases litigated before the Alabama Supreme Court on key issues of the duty owed to customers and other business invitees.

Other areas of expertise include creditors' rights, commercial litigation and bankruptcy. He has extensive experience in the development and execution of risk management programs and enforcement issues, and frequently counsels clients on matters such as compliance with state and federal regulations in a premises liability context. He handles a wide variety of matters for local and national businesses arising out of business disputes and creditors' rights issues.

Mr. Morano is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama. He is a member of numerous local, state and national organizations, including the Birmingham Bar Association, American Bar Association, Insurance Defense Section of the American Bar Association, and the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association.

Mr. Morano is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. He graduated from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law.
